Unfortunately the UK is not blessed with having good weather all year round and even though it’s the summer, we’re not guaranteed good weather. Rescue the barbeque season this summer by planning the perfect indoor barbeque.

Planning an indoor barbeque isn’t that different to planning a regular barbeque , the only thing that is different is that your guests will be occupying your house and you are going to need to cook your food most probably in the kitchen . Alternatively, you could do as many of us have done in the past and pull your barbeque into your garage with the door open, although watch out for barbeque fumes roaming in to your house !

There are a few simple steps that need to be followed, which include:

1. Bring the outdoors indoors – give your home a traditional barbeque feel by bringing in the outdoors indoors. We recommend using garden furniture instead of conventional furniture, add big plants, lanterns, plastic plates, bowls and glasses, and a big bucket filled with ice and to top up your drinks !
2. Try cooking your barbeque food by using a griddle pan.  This will create an authentic barbeque taste, especially with the charcoaled bits!
3. Your menu will probably consist of barbeque favourites such as burgers  and kebabs . Why not try something a little different and experiment with chicken drumbsticks , roasted vegetables and fish such as shrimps . A great idea for dessert is to toast marshmallows over the gas hob or fruity kebabs consisting of various tropical fruits.
4. Now it’s time to turn up the summertime beats and choose music for your special barbeque.
